Cake Care
Bosman Baking Cake Care Instructions for Transport
-
Level Surface Placement
Ensure the cake is placed on a flat, level surface in your car. The trunk or the floor of the car is ideal. Avoid placing the cake on a seat as it can tilt during transit. -
Secure the Cake
Use non-slip mats or place the cake box on a non-slip surface to prevent it from sliding around. If you don’t have a non-slip mat, a rubber shelf liner or even a yoga mat can work well. -
Maintain a Cool Temperature
Keep the car cool by using air conditioning, especially on warm days. Heat can cause the frosting to melt and decorations to slide. -
Drive Carefully
Sudden stops, sharp turns, and bumpy roads can damage the cake. Drive slowly and cautiously to minimise movement. -
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Keep the cake out of direct sunlight. Sun exposure can cause the cake to heat up and the frosting to melt. -
Limit Transport Time
Try to minimise the time the cake spends in the car. If possible, go directly to your destination to reduce the risk of damage. -
Check the Cake Upon Arrival
Once you arrive at your destination, carefully check the cake to ensure it has not shifted or suered any damage during transport.
By following these instructions, you can help ensure that your Bosman Baking cake arrives safely and looks as beautiful as when you picked it up. Enjoy your delicious creation!
Please note that after the cake is handed to you, I am not responsible for any damages.
